Oil stains
Silestone recommends the use of CREAM for the maintenance of the worktops.
Use a little bit of CREAM for oil stains. You can use a cloth or apply the cream directly over the stain and rub until it disappears. After that, rinse with abundant water.

Lack of shine.
The shine lack of the worktop surface of Sileston can be due to the use of products such as waxes, sprays or sealers. Usually these products are used precisely to highlight the shine, but with time the effect of this product is lost.
It is a lost that does not have relation with the authentic original shine of the product.
In order to get this artificial shine back you can use a multipurpose sprays for furnitures and it must be suitable as well for the worktop.


Lime water stains (glass marks, etc
Pour Salfuman over the worktop surface and let it work for 1 minute. Rinse with water. Follow the use recommendations specified by the Salfuman manufacturer. Do not apply it over faucets, sinks, etc. Use only for the worktop.

Silicone stains:
Use a blade and a little bit of solvent (any solvent without dichloromethane, dimethylchlorine or ethylene chlorine). Rinse with water.

• Do not place Silestone out of doors or close to UV lamps.

• Don not place over the Silestone surface objects that have just taken out from the fire.

• Do not use water-resistant products or sealers to highlight the shine.

• Do not use stripping agents, caustic soda or products with a Ph superior to 10. In case of using bleach or solvent,
rinse with water and never let them stay for a long time. Do not use chlorinated products.

• The material surface, both in floors and worktops, must not be pulished.

• Do not use degreasings.

• Silestone must be isolated from heat sources such as deep fryer.
